CR Paul Bell AMChairman
Paul was elected Chairman of the CHH Board in 2014 and has been a Director since 2012. Working as a local government Councillor since 1985, Paul is also Chair of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, a Director of the Central Highlands (Qld) Housing Company Ltd, and CQ NRL Bid. Paul was awarded the Order of Australia, General Division, in 2005.
Greg McDonnellDeputy Chair, Finance Committee Chair
Greg was appointed a Director in 2015. Since 1992, he has been a partner in the accounting practice McDonnell Hume Partners, which provides advice to individuals and businesses in the Central Highlands – including the agricultural, coal mining and retail industries. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Wendy McPheeCompany Secretary
Wendy was appointed a Director in 2015. She has 23 years of experience running a medical practice, working as Practice Manager of Emerald Medical Group from 1992 to 2015. Wendy is an active member of the local community, including volunteering her time as Treasurer of the Emerald State School P&C for 10 years. Wendy has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Clinton AdamsCommittee Chair
Originally an electrical fitter and mechanic, Clinton is a fully qualified auctioneer and real estate developer. He has developed and built numerous buildings and has been involved in industry and community activities including the $7million dollar Egerton Street upgrade and beautification in partnership with the Central Highlands Regional Council. Clinton is on the committee for the Bush Children’s Health Scheme.
Pat LyonsGovernance Committee Chair
Pat was appointed a Director in 2014. He has worked in public administration and management in the Queensland Public Service prior to entering private enterprise in 2002, opening a Branch Office of Taylor Byrne Valuers. He currently serves as a Director of Central Highlands (Qld) Housing Company Limited, Taylor Byrne, Lane Infrastructure Property Services, and Emerald Sunrise Rotary Club.
CR Gail Godwin-SmithDirector
Gail was appointed a Director in 2016. Gail is in her second term as a Councillor with Central Highlands Regional Council and her first as Deputy Mayor. A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Gail is a representative for the Australian Local Government Women’s Association, a local government board director of the CHRRUP, and the Fitzroy Basin Association.
